Hi there! I'm Lex, a wife, and mom to four amazing children. My journey into the world of birth work has been a winding path, as I've woven in and out of the medical field throughout my adult life. However, everything changed when I was given the incredible opportunity to bring my last baby earthside in the comfort of my own home. That experience ignited a passion within me to help other women experience the same redemptive and empowering births.
I believe in the transformative power of laughter and not taking life too seriously, but I'm also the first friend to step up and act in times of an emergency. When I'm not attending births or spending time with my beautiful family, you'll often find me exploring somewhere new and likely dreaming of owning a dairy cow one day. I feel immensely grateful to be part of the birthing community, and I'm committed to supporting and empowering women on their journey to motherhood. Everyone deserves the birth they desire and I will fight along side you to obtain it.

What led me here...
WHEN I WAS 11 YEARS OLD, I STOOD IN A BRAND NEW NICU DURING A HOSPITAL TOUR AND DECIDED ONE DAY I'D BE A NEONATOLOGIST.
FAST FORWARD 6 YEARS AND I WAS FULLY IMMERSED IN THE MEDICAL FIELD, WORKING AS A MEDICAL ASSISTANT AT AGE 16 AND IN A ACCELERATED YEAR LONG MEDICAL PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
IN 2008, I BEGAN NURSING SCHOOL BUT AFTER NEARLY 3 YEARS, SOMETHING JUST FELT *OFF.*
THANK GOD I FOLLOWED MY GUT BECAUSE WHEN I LEFT NURSING SCHOOL, I FOUND MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND WHICH LED TO OUR BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN.
AFTER HAVING THREE VERY DIFFERENT BIRTHS, FOLLOWED BY MY FOURTH REDEMPTIVE HOME BIRTH, I EXPERIENCED FIRST HAND HOW VITAL TRADITIONAL BIRTH PRACTICES AND HOLISTIC CARE IS. THIS IS MY CALLING AND IT ALWAYS HAS BEEN.
Lex was an absolute lifesaver during my postpartum journey. Her warmth, compassion, and expert support made all the difference as I navigated the challenges of early motherhood. Lex's nurturing presence and practical guidance helped me feel confident and supported during a time of immense change and adjustment. I cannot recommend her highly enough as a postpartum doula.
